At the risk of getting this tread back o track, TUT was conspicuous by his absence yesterday. Does anyone know what's happening with him? I seem to recall rumours that he was seriously ill, involved in a court case regarding some models e sold, and tat he had been declared persona non grata at some toy fairs.

I heard that Barry Potter personally challenged him, and banished him from all Potter Fairs on the basis of some reports that Barry Potter received regards TuT’s dubious techniques.

Coming up fast is the Windsor toy fair on Saturday 27th January, at the Windsor Leisure Centre, Clewer Mead, Stovell Rd, Windsor, SL4 5JB.

If you want to book a table and off load all those old tatty Matcbox models, I still have tables at £33 each and you get a free back-up table of the same size.

How was Windsor toy fair? I didn't go as I was going to Shepton Mallet the following day - two toy fairs in one weekend would be too much temptation for my budget!

Hi Jason. Windsor toy fair was great, first event in the whole hall. I had some new dealers and I managed to squeeze in a working model railway display.

Next event in May will see more model railway dealers and perhaps another working display. I should also have my regular Matchbox specialist back, Mr John Moore after a spell of bad health he is quite fit and healthy again and is promising to be at Windsor from May onwards, so looking forward to that.

Shepton Mallet's tables are supplied by the same Guy who supply me with mine at Windsor.
