GOOD BOX is above the BAD BOX. Mike, the brighter tidier box at the bottom of your picture, is a modern reproduction, which on it's own is fine, as long as it is not passed-off as an original, sold with a model. If you purchased this box as original with a model, and the seller did not tell you the box was new, this is naughty. I f you got it from a shop sale or second hand outlet, then that's fine, just keep it as a spare storage box, it will never be valuable.

Mike, to me, this box just looks wrong, for such an old box, the colour looks wrong and the razor-sharp edges look wrong and I think "SMS88" also aired some reservations about it. The artwork of the car itself has a distinctive pattern when viewed close up, clearly seen in one of your images, a pattern caused by some sort of copying process and the blue tint of the artwork for the car should not be all one shade. The other box you show, marked with a 'Tick' sign, looks absolutely fine and original
