What Is This Little Chap ?

Hi there Diecast Forum ! Hiding at the back of the toy cupboard I found the 6 wheel orange liveried lorry reflected in the attached photos.



Under the back of the lorry it carries the legend 'Lesney England' , but I can't readily find it listed in the excellent on line information provided for Lesney / Matchbox.

Any ideas anybody as to its history / manufacture date etc.

That is a Matchbox 1-75 Series no. 15. It was the first model to carry the number 15, and so collectors refer to it as a 15a. You will find a catalogue page for it here.
