A few Christmas treats arrived under the tree this year with the help of members of this forum.
Many thanks to Stefan Malibu for the blue Aral Tanker and Jason Nearlymint for the orange Ford Tractor!

Re: New additions to Kurt's Garage
Thank you Ergomatic.
With this new addition, I now have at least one Aral of the 25c 32c and Superfast 32c, so I am very pleased.
The Arals hardly ever show up here at local vintage toy shows. And I don’t recall seeing an orange Ford tractor at our local shows either.

Nice Aral tanker Kurt, one model I will be keeping an eye out for...decent examples are always above what I am willing to spend.
Re: New additions to Kurt's Garage
A number of years ago, I took a deep breathe and bought mint boxed 25c and 32c (RW) Aral tankers for my collection. Given how prices have risen since, I have never regretted doing so.Lee@kai76 wrote:Nice Aral tanker Kurt, one model I will be keeping an eye out for...decent examples are always above what I am willing to spend.
I would urge you to do likewise, since I think that prices will only continue to climb.
Re: New additions to Kurt's Garage
Hello Idris it's very tempting but I think it's going to be a reasonable condition unboxed one for my collection, I think I've started collecting matchbox a little late in my opinion, today's price's are to steep for me for the more desirable model's...who knows though maybe I'll regret it.

Thank you Lee and Idris for your comments.
I am also in the category of having financial constraints which will likely keep me from acquiring many mint models in mint boxes but the hunt goes on. I’ve been hit by sererendipity before, so it may happen again. And if it doesn’t, I will be happy in the pursuit!
A few last additions to report for 2017:
A white and a cream 14c with roof crosses. One from Kwackers and one from Nearly Mint. Thank you Dick and Jason!
In the meantime, best wishes to all forum members for a healthy and happy New Year!
Happy hunting!

I will have an open eye on the ARAL-tankers - if I find another one I will let you know.
Kurt do the two ambulances already have the doors?
