I think this is probably my best find ever - if I'm right, it's a preproduction or colour-trial Ford Corsair. I've had it for about 6 months. The eBay photo was so bad that I had no idea it was a different colour, so it was very cheap. The seller was downsizing to move into an old people's home, and knew nothing about it other than that he had owned it for 20 or 30 years.

Both nice models Al and both hard to find, coincidently I also found a Ford Group 6 with yellow base.
I also have one of these Rob in dark green with square 45 racing number and yellow baseplate

and count the hours until replicas start appearing on eBay?

Seriously, I'll do it when I can take some pictures in daylight (so probably not until next weekend).

These are my two favorite additions (so far) this year*.

These are favorites, not because they are in perfect condition (which they most certainly are not!) but because they are the first of their variations which I’ve actually seen in person and they also fall within my primary collection (Regular Wheel Lesney Matchboxes).

*There is still one package I haven’t opened yet and one ‘in transit’. The suspense is killing me!

Did pretty well earlier in the year. I consider these two my "best finds" as I spotted both in group lots and was able to pick them up at bottom of the barrel prices :D

Very nice Tractorboy! The large hub tractors also fall into that catagory of “models I've never seen in person”. It must be a huge thrill to spot one and to calmly negotiate a purchase.
Congratulations and enjoy!
