Any chance of a better picture? It's really hard to see but I wonder if these might be faded red?

Thanks

Sorry - this is the only picture I have - it was obtained from the previous owner about 6 months ago at the time of purchase.

However I have just double checked each of the wheel hubs on both sides and they are definitely orange, as is the remaining half of the plastic suspension bar above the rear axle.

It was a popular wheel hub that was used on several 1-75's, Majors & Kings. It was made in orange, yellow and red and in vast numbers.
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."

True, but some combinations are rare (yellow 69b Hatra with red wheels, for example). The M8b/K8 started with orange hubs but moved to red hubs at the end of the turquoise-orange K8s. My turquoise-yellow K8 has red hubs and red is definitely the most common colour on yellow K8s. As Sebastian says, yellow with orange wheels "may be quite rare". So please, Sebastian, a better picture - I'd really like to see the orange hubs, but in this tiny image they still look red to me!

The suspension probably isn't broken - I think it's only the very last yellow K8s that have full width suspension. All the others have springing to just one wheel. Here's the bottom of my turquoise-yellow K8. This spring is orange, but the hubs are definitely red.

Dr. Jeep

I enclose a couple of photos as requested - I have enhanced these to try to bring out the colour but the quality is still not great.
Hopefully you can see that the hubs are orange

Thanks - that's much better and does look orange. I do think this is very scarce - where did you find it?

Got another one of these models with the orange wheels. So far I have just done a quick check and it seems to be the same as my previous one except rear suspension is on the nearside and the swivel rivet is larger and shiny silver in appearance. :D

Happy collecting :) :)

All my Guy Transporters have full width suspension. Why wouldn't they?
I have the M8 with orange wheels and grey tyres .... full width dark blue suspension,
the K8 turquoise cab and yellow trailer .... full width orange suspension,
the K8 all yellow .... full width orange suspension.
The early M8 the suspension is still lively both sides but the later two are tired one side and look ready to snap if coaxed.
