You asked if there were any prepros that were over painted. This was one of the proposals for the Lucas Tampo design. Clearly over a Harrods canopy.

Another example. The model in the middle has over painted components from the model on the left (roof & screen)

It is still a prepro as it has no number plate, and has trial decals, not tampo print.

I still maintain the Auburn is a repaint. It was never proposed to go into production in that colour. The first preproduction runs of the model were in a military green.

We found one of those "Military Green" Auburns like your photo in the collection as well.

Yes, the 2nd run were the white bodied models.

These can be found with unplated components in their entirety, or a mixture of plated/unplated components.

Yes, we also had one in the collection we are working on that was sold last month so now it is just a memory. Lovely model with no Y-number and an incomplete year.

I am thinking Lesney made a lot of these too as there are at least two others on ofas right now.
