#66 Ford Transit

Just trying to find out about this model I have with clear windows(right model), been on my upgrade list for a long time. Just checked through Christians site and some other books I have and clear windows are not listed, although the clear windows can be seen on a couple of preproduction models on Christians site.
Does anyone else have one with clear windows.

Hi Jason, nice to have you back, started to wonder if you were OK.

Are there any differences between the Green and clear mouldings like different tooling letters or numbers. I'm thinking this may be another example of a 'Pre-Pro' component finding it's way into full production, as we have seen with the #69 Silver Shadow DHC and many 'Yesteryear' models.

Good to see you back Jason, I don’t have a clear glass version mate. Any other casting differences? Does it have the number plate cast at the front?

These are quite old pictures that I took a while ago, I will try and dig the model out to check for any numbers. The model does have the cast number plate and no other differences that I noted.

I've had some of these with very light blue-green windows. Any chance it is just one of those?

I will attempt to attach a pic with the uplaod option. I am not sure how to post pics anymore since photobucket changed their terms of service.
