Thank's Guys.

The pictures by ''misterpop'' above show a small plastic (around 2.5 inches long), Ford Squire which is the estate version of the Ford Prefect from 1957ish. This little model car was sold as part of a Two car set with an ESSO petrol station by Wells Brimtoy, the other car in the set was the Saloon car version of the Squire so will be the Prefect.

These Fords are rarely seen on the open market so Ian has done well to find that one.

I know what you mean Ian, real cars held together with string, bits of wire and a multitude of different sized nuts and bolts. Put cheap supermarket petrol in a modern car, the computer throws a wobbly and thinks it is a good idea to illuminate an Amber warning light on the dashpanel!!
