Hi guys
I'm just looking for some advice on collecting really. I have inherited a few models with playeorn marks on and have numerous models that are the same. I am hoping to sell some of these models that are the same to then use the funds to add to the collection.
Most don't have boxes so my question would be do I buy repros to sell them on? Or just sell them as they are without boxes? The ones I want to keep I want to touch up some of the marks. Where's the best place to find paint Matches?
And finally where is the best place to buy new models to add to my collection? eBay seems to have a lot of models but it's difficult to know if they are legit models/boxes etc.
Thanks Sean

Re: New collector
Hi and welcome!
I hate repro boxes and they wouldn’t help to sell a model especially a play worn one. Touching-up is also a no go for me. Play-worn models have a bit of the so called patina which adds to the history of the model. Touch up spoils this. Ebay is a good place to buy as is this site. Most common or garden variations would be legit, rare variations need to be qualified.
