The cab on those models is of the Ford H series and were nicknamed "Two Storey Falcons" because they were a cobbled together affair utilising a Ford C series cab mounted on a Ford N series chassis. You can see that the original C series wheelarch becomes a toolbox on the stacked cab H series.

...and for me a much better looking big Truck. Even as a Child I was aware the Corgi model appeared not be based on a Truck we see on the roads in the UK, well not where I was living...
