Back from hospital with my new knee... still on pain meds and "not quite myself". But i will try to pop in more and more as I return to "normal" - whatever that is!

Sadly not keyhole surgery - had the whole knee removed and replaced with titanium and chrome (I believe) - a very nice 8 inch scar to match the one on the other knee!

Ghosty.
So true Kevin!... At least before I could get down on one knee but now I've had them both done getting down to floor level is going to be tricky! I'm trying to work out a way to get down on me bum and back up again without putting pressure on the knees themselves!

Appreciated you'd had the whole kit and kaboodle swapped, but the reaction to it will be the same as daughter had to what I referred to as "a bit of poking about". The youngsters aren't as tough as us old codgers. A couple of work colleagues had hip replacements, so I do understand what you're suffering.
Good luck with the recovery Ian.
You'll be able to give that knee a workout at the swap meet this weekend.
In fact I've got some items you'll like to see. I'll leave them on the floor for you!!!
