Very clever customs Stephan!
Nicely done! They look like they could have come from the factory.
Thank you for sharing.

Hi all,

the first custom model in 2018 was about to get finished.
I finally wanted to polish the windows and the whole unit broke in two pieces.
Does anyone here do have a window unit as sparepart.
They are currently not avaiable at modelcarparts.

Another great custom, just right for Lesney's catalogue if only they had done one like that!

Kurt this is one o the models you send me a month ago.
Many thanks again to you.

Actually I'm a bit late in catching up on this forum.... like 6 months late!... my comment is that this is a lovely rendition of the model, however the real buses used in WWI were only overpainted in green and the red paint and advertising could still be seen through the green paint. I've seen a couple of original vehicles in my time and the advertising was still clearly visible!

They are like hen's teeth. I've three good bodies and no glass for each. I've often used the good rear half from one model's window insert and front half from another's .. if it's broken where it doesn't show, you can still use it.

Stephan, your customs just get better and better.

I await the details of that one coming together.
