I heard they are working on printed optical lenses it but it will need some time and I do not have a idea about prices.GHOSTHUNTER wrote: am still learning about what can be 3D printed, but I was wondering if clear items can be done such as replacement glazing units. If yes, how clear are they and do they require a lot of refinishing and polishing to make them usable inside models such as the Matchbox, Corgi and Dinky etc.

Re: 3D-printing
A few weeks ago I bought this junk model because I thought I could use the tires and axles.
Perhaps I´ll replace them once.

But then I decided to make something out of it.
Together with the other Foden trucks.
Joe, the Labels where made bevor you gave me your tips how to make them better.Perhaps I´ll replace them once.

A brilliant transformation Stephan and because you have posted here, I assume the tank section is a 3D printed part. Very nicely finished.

Hi,
today I received a parcel with spareparts from modelcarparts.
Now I was able to fit out the trailer for this Scammel tractor with wheels.
The chassis of the trailer is made by 3D-printing.
The axle´s are made of nails.

Superb Truck and trailer pairing. The colours are perfect for this sort of subject making it look very heavy. Wouldn't want to get stuck behind that in the High Street on cold wet Monday morning while going to work...
