Dating one of my vans

Hi I'm trying to find out the year my latest purchase was produced, its a Corgi vw type 2 van the masters voice any info would be appreciated.

It's not as easy these Days trying to date recent production models unless you have the item in hand, mint and boxed. However, the model below is the same casting but in 'Lufthansa' livery and I know this issue comes from 1998. Hope that is of some assistance to you.
