If you are already registered and post a link then the 'register' link will not show up as if a member already your link is approved. You have to go in 'cold' so to speak. Try this one - http://www.moyboyz.com/phpBB3 and see if it comes up. I tried clicking this link but as I already have the cookie on my computer it doesn't work for me.

I have tried the link posted, as well as the link directly from the matchbox memories page. The registration button simply is not there, thus I am unable to register. I don't think I'm the only one for which the registration button is notshowing, as I asked a few other folks (not associated with the collector community) to click on the link as well, and the registration button was not showing for them either.

Searched for a possible cause for the problem and found this information.

It's usually one of two things.

1) You've turned off registration.
Admin panel>general>user registration settings>account activation.
If that is on disable then no one can sign up.

2) You've got a style which is not the same version as the rest of the files on the board.

I will just add this...

There are Two ways to get to one of the topics on Moyboyz (Mick's own forum birthday posting), where one of them does not allow replies to be done so you have to go to the other identical topic where the reply box is displayed and a reply can be made in the usual way.

Mick, you might need to check some settings/check boxes as it seems a few functions have been turned off.

This is the page as I see it now. Still no register button showing.
But I now see board index and auction buttons, which I don't believe were there before.
also the message this board has no forums
