I think I have to take care that I´m not turning into a fleamarket junky.
Today I bought these models.
The Morestone Mail van is the first one for me from this manufacturer.
The Morstones are not often seen in Germany.

Wow, that's memory for me. That little mail van was probably among my first metal cars. I mus have been about 5 years old, so 1962. Would this be about the right date?

It might have gone out with a BAOR family.

I believe the mail Van is a Budgie. Does it have a Black baseplate.

Yes the baseplate is black showing: Royal Mail Made in England No 11
I thought it is the number 11 of the Esso Petrol Pump series:

But having a look at Google I´m not sure anymore.
Or did Morestone belong to Budgie?

Morestone and Budgie are connected, so we know your Van is from one of them, just which one!
