Does a member here have the 15th edition of John Ramsay's price guide. I would like you to check the entry for the Dinky Toys #150 Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith. I have been told there is a version with plastic bumpers and please see what guide price it is.
Any further info or pictures of this version from the guide would be helpful, thank's.

Re: John Ramsay's price guide.
Thank's Reg. I'll reveal why I wanted to know when I've seen what the Ramsay guide says about such a model.

For those interested, I saw on ebay a Dinky Toys #150 Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith described as a late issue with plastic bumpers. I contacted the seller and commented about the model's specification, pointing out the model has very early specification details such as the sharp boot corners near the bottom of the rear window, large brake drums, closed rivets and a gloss finish baseplate. He came back with an honest answer about not really knowing Dinky toys, he was a Matchbox Man.
After a few more messages where points were raised about ''how did he know they were plastic bumpers'' and ''do they flex slightly with finger nail pressure''one of his replies stated his Wife had a look at the model and thought the bumpers could be Chromed metal. This prompted my responce of...Chromed metal bumpers is more likely and that I already have this version and thanked him for his time and his polite messages.
The upshot of all this based around a £60.00 model is that I had planted doubt in his mind and he sought a Second opinion and his Wife was most obliging.
In one of my messages to him I stated ''nobody has seen a plastic bumper version of this model'' (any member here is welcome to prove me wrong), and I asked him if he had read somewhere, late issues of the #194 Bentley do have plastic bumpers and did he just assume the #150 Rolls-Royce was the same.
He then said it says so in John Ramsay's guide!!!
So, I am sadly not an owner of a plastic bumper Dinky Toy Rolls-Royce and hopefully the seller is now more the wiser!
