I have had this SF53 Ford Zodiac for some time. The base rivet was never spun.
So... I can take it apart and marvel at the construction.
Today, Mattel has imposed a four part assembly rule, for this model back then in England it was madness! (But in a good way!)

It's a five part model when you factor in the glazing unit. Then you need to count the suspension unit hubs etc. How many parts do we have now?

At least 14 separate parts
Re: ZODIAC Exposed!
The spare tyre is technically a separate part which someone had to fit so does that count too

A great find for sure!
Always fun to see the guts, but usually it's not the innards of such a mint example. Good show!!!
