Hi fellow collectors,
I've got a SF 31 Lincoln today in the mail, first I was glad to held the parcel in my hands but after I opened it I was only disappointed.
I've paid for SF 31 Lincoln with big wheel arches and small wheels.
And I've got a Lincoln wit big wheels and a drill hole in the baseplate.
I opened a claim via eBay, a few minutes after that I got a message from the seller in misspelled German.
Wow, this sucks.

With those clear pictures (make sure you have copies backed up somewhere as this is good evidence), you have good cause for making a case for a full refund.

You should even insist that the seller has to pay delivery costs in both directions.GHOSTHUNTER wrote:With those clear pictures (make sure you have copies backed up somewhere as this is good evidence), you have good cause for making a case for a full refund.
I always do it and all sellers did agree by now.

Obviously used someone else's photo not realising the differences.

Hi there,
I'm still in contact with the seller, he told me now, that he had a car with wide wheels and the car with thin wheels, he gave me the wrong car by mistake - his words.
He asked me too, if I want the right car. Haha I said "YES". Let's look which car I'll get now. Maybe a car with thin wheels but without the wide wheel arches. I'll keep you informed.

It certainly can happen if the seller is not as informed on the models they sell and will likely have the models out of their boxes for ebay pictures and just put them back in the wrong boxes which if a model is box specific is a problem for the buyer.
I have seen Yesteryear models from a seller put into the wrong boxes and they don't understand what the problem is when I contact them pointing it out and if they are not prepaired to correct it, I end up having to buy both models and put them in the right boxes myself!

An excellent result and a nice variation of the #31
