I joined November 2018 and it's a very informative site. I am surprised at how few members are online at any one time and how few post. It was obviously much busier in the early years. Maybe there's nothing new to say....

Interesting what you mention about youngsters. I've shown the kids in my school the 'toys' I get from eBay, and they look at them, drive them along a couple of centimetres and then.....zilch. No interest at all.

I pick up my daughter (14) from school each day, every one streight away handy no interrest in anything else.
Toys are the past for them, for us the older generation it is (was) our childhood, brings back memories and we can now
have the cars which mum and dad could(would) not buy for us.

I recently received a train catalog
where the MFG has regular staff, which devoted years to expanding the line to 10 pages of items.
directed to those under 16yr
part of that may be incentive for 10 yr and up ,items are all inclusive or expandable to work from/with the ever expanding app
so their phone could drive it beyond the first 20cm camera and record puts them inside.....
