I started using Photobucket as cloud storage back around 2002. I've had at least four hard drives crash since then and most of what's stored on PB is my only remaining copies of those files.
most of pics are on PB and an external hard drive and a couple flash drives
Please use a web hosting site (like photobucket) to store pictures so you can post them here, using attachments makes it hard to view the pictures when you have to scroll to see them. Seeing comparisons of models is hard to see with attachments too.

Lost data is my own fault (especially lost photos), I'm really bad about not backing up my data (including photos). I too started using photobucket due to the need to host photos on several different BBS platforms. If it wasn't for that, I would have lost many more treasured photos.

I've also retained many excellent photos of my sold off collection via photobucket. Ebay used to have lousy photo hosting and the best way to share decent photos was by embedding them into the item description with html content. That caused my number of stored photos to exponentially increase.

Like so many have complained, as their advertising increased, I found the site became slower and more prone to being glitchy. Going ad free costs about $1.50 a month and it made a huge difference. I now find the site works flawlessly and quickly without all the glitches I was experiencing. Well worth the low cost for a large amount of cloud storage.
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."

I took J.P.'s advise above on Photobucket a few months ago and it is definitely worth the minimal cost. Once the ads don't "bog the site down" (like so many other websites these days!), Photobucket works quickly and easily. It is also very inexpensive insurance to save photos away from your location.
Highly recommend it!

Thanks Brad. I do not know which is more rare, if 5 lines text/ open step or if 5 lines text/ closed step. Is there any statistic?

I'll own up to having a no-hole base with open ladder.
