The last point was made by a few people. There was no noticeable increase in the number of people in the halls when the doors were opened to "the public". They must make the biggest proportion of the entrance money from "early entries".

I felt that too, tbh I hadn't realised the doors were open until I checked the time

I went to Sandown today, the first time for a while, and I enjoyed the day. I also didn't notice when the doors opened, as there were so many early birds. Lots of expensive items, but also a few bargains, so I'm happy. I suppose a lot of my collection is tat anyway so perhaps I'm easily pleased... :lol:

Fred, having seen the pictures you have posted of your collection, you bring a whole new meaning to the word tat! Certainly Not the word I would use to describe the multiple cabinets of stunning models.

SATERDAY THE 17th (this coming Saterday!).

The Windsor toy fair is opening at 10:30am to 3:00pm.

Early bird entry will be honored if you are there early (9:00am), I am only charging you £5 (£7 official price!).
General public get in for £3
Concessions get in for £2.50
FREE entry after 2:00pm
FREE entry for Maidenhead Static Model Club members.
FREE entry to anyone called ''nearlymint''... :D

I will be there all Day because I am the organiser so will be on hand for any problems or just come and say Hello!
