Is it possible to have mixed axles
I have a truly awful dark blue Fairlane whose base has been off at some point (missing interior and window unit looks to be glued), the rear axle is domed both ends and front is crimped, the wheel is damaged on the crimped end
Just curious that's all

Re: Axles
With a 1963 introduction the model is unlikely to come from Lesney with crimped axles. Now, a mint in blister hanging card package from Fred Bronner's little empire would obviousley be a different kettle of Fish...

Possible, other end looks Lesney and wouldn't it be easier to burr it than crimpIdris wrote:Dad to the rescue (probably with a nail from a old St. Bruno tin)?fixer wrote:why would someone bother ?
