Well, i´m not the first with that idea, although this guy used the wrong bus... :D

now the MB 230 SL ist ready to go for aride on this sunny spring afternoon.

The sterring wheel was missing - I replced it by a Wiking part an made a RHD out of it.

OMG - this is one of the few cars in the Matchbox range with the steering wheel on the right left side and you ruined it! :lol:

Now lets go for a driver :lol:

No of course not.
And yes Kevin this color really suits the model.
As a menber in the forum wrote it is always rewarding to have a model finished which was in a desolate state before.

this horsebox needed a new door.
Painted the box and the door green but left the body of the model untouched.

Here's a couple of Mercedes I did about 10 years ago. The graphite one is my personal favorite. I took the windshields from some Maisto BMWs which I got at the corner drugstore priced at two for $1.00.
