The sterring wheel was missing - I replced it by a Wiking part an made a RHD out of it.

OMG - this is one of the few cars in the Matchbox range with the steering wheel on the right left side and you ruined it!

No of course not.
And yes Kevin this color really suits the model.
As a menber in the forum wrote it is always rewarding to have a model finished which was in a desolate state before.

Here's a couple of Mercedes I did about 10 years ago. The graphite one is my personal favorite. I took the windshields from some Maisto BMWs which I got at the corner drugstore priced at two for $1.00.
