Naw, probably pass them to the daughters and grand kids :)

That's quite a storage closet you have there! Chocked full of rare, unusual and quite desirable models :D
Were they difficult to find back in the days, when you acquired them?

Oh I have non-rare models too, just many multiples. Just collected different models in the 60's and 70's some were my two brothers that I kept when they moved out. We all played with them but didn't abuse them. When I got my first Charley Mack book in the early 90's I tried to find all the ones he said were rare. I used to advertise in the taxi cabs that I collected Matchbox cars so got a lot of people selling me what they had too. Don't do much now until I found this site.I went a couple months ago to antique shops and found the Mog and others. I had hundreds but gave a lot away and kept the mint and rare ones. My wife thinks its silly so I keep them in storage along with other stuff. :D

Don't put the VW on the rare list yet. I've never seen one that turned out to be real and I'd bet good money this one isn't real either.
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."
