Really! I'll have another look then...

...No, I still see what I described in my earlier post apart from the 1st 'VBD' does go to our 'Board Index', but still nothing for your 'Moyboyz', it does not even leave the 'Matchbox Club' page, I do not know what is happening them...Graham, where are you ?

Matchbox Club forum links update.

The revised list of links to our favourite forums is as follows...

MoyBoyz...I still get a 'Page not found' message within the Matchbox club page !
Planet Diecast...this takes me to the 'Home' page.
Matchbox Collectors Forum...This takes me to their Home page.
Vintage British Diecast...takes me to our 'Board Index' page.
Hobby Talk...takes me to their Home page.
Diecast Restoration...takes me to their Home page.
Dinky Toys Collectors Association...takes me to their Home page.

So you can see a few modifications, but still no access to 'MoyBoyz' through the 'Matchbox Club' for me, anyone else the same ?

Thank's Graham for the changes to the links.

I had an e-mail survey from the matchbox club the other day asking what I collected. Also here was some sort of draw you went in for,for replying!
I'd not heard anything from them for years now even though I'd tried contacting them a number of times.

Matchbox Club members clicking on the 'Dinky Toys Collectors Association' forum link will be faced with the usual 'Error 404' page. This is sadly due to the site having to be closed down due to some hacking issues. The 4 Man team are trying to save as much data as possible and upload to a new platform. They have managed to re-launch a skeleton version of the site, but make it clear to any visitors and registered members, there is a lot of work to do and they ask for support during this difficult time.

Here is the link to the new site...http://dtcawebsite.com/

Not sure what is happening to the 'Matchbox Club' (formerly 'MICA'), but I popped in for a look at the models database and found my posting of 2015 relating to #13 Dodge Wreck Truck is still awaiting moderation...

...what a shame if this site has also gone a bit low profile!

I think MICA is a thing of the past now sadly but that is just how things go. If we could get a yearly meet going somewhere here like Jim does in US then I would support it and also devote some time to help organise if required.

Can't understand why you would buy the club and then run it in to the ground!
Graham must have more money than sense!!!

I used to enjoy contributing articles to the magazine. I offered to carry on and even submitted the odd thing but never got any replies so reluctantly gave up.
In the end I couldn't even access the site.

Shame because they must have had a good data base of collectors built up over the years. I used to always promote it at our swapmeets.

The guy's not interested. I think he bought it as a money making idea, realised it was going to cost money not make any and dropped it like a hot coal. I also offered to submit articles/pictures/and work on YY reference, but never got a reply.
