There is currently a 1977 issued Corgi Rolls-Royce model fitted with the very first type of 'SPEEDWHEELS'. This is being offered at over 500 Euros. It is being sold as a 'Pre-Production.
Why use such a late model (1977), that is going out of production in 1979 for 'Pre-Proing something. The wheels were designed in 1968 and fitted on a few models in the 'Golden Jacks' range, they are the first design from Corgi of a low friction wheel and axle combination. I seriousley doubt the authenticity of this model.
If any members here are watching this with a view to buying, I think you are mad, don't waste your Money.
