I have a memory of a model magazine writer once saying there was a 'Plethora' of Silver Cloud models on the market (mid-60's), but apart from the Solido offering between 1958-66 (1967 if you buy the kit version), they were in un-standard scales.
It is great to see such decent 43rd scale models coming to market at realistic prices. The Silver Cloud standard saloon will also allow Bentley versions to be made, giving Oxford more revenue from the tooling.

I bought myself a second Oxford Diecast James Young Phantom V (taking ages to arrive) which I planned to convert into a Sedanca de Ville, by cutting a section out of the roof with my Dremel tool.
And so it went, the result is exactly as I hoped it would be, very pleasant and satisfactory:
