Nice pair of Landys, early on the left, later on the right (note the anti-bending restraints behind the front bumper on the Red example).

Did they have tops originally? I had a bit of a game finding these, they seem pretty popular. Probably because they are a really nice model unlike some big LS stuff :lol:

Yes they have a tin cab and the RAC one has a tin tilt too not sure if these 2 had tilts

The later Red Land Rover was blister packed with a trailer but minus any cover (or 'Tilt'), as this picture below shows.

Hi all,
I thought they came with a bonnet mounted spare wheel, obviously not. Mines a little bit less battered than I thought then!

I don't recall ever seeing an example with a spare on the bonnet and even in the catalogue (I think this is 1969), they do not show a spare on the bonnet!

there is a safari version in a sandy colour similar to the desert fighting range that has a bonnet mounted spare according to December '18 model collector who are running a 2 part feature part 2 should be in January '19 it has also highlighted a site caravan like the RAC one I was not aware of
