No. 31 American Station Wagon

Post by Viewfield »

Bored today I took a look at Nicks site to check on the 1:75's I have. These are not my main collection field but I have a few. Apparent this is, according to Nicks listings, quite rare.

Is this really the one valued at over £300,00?

Yep Rod, that's a dandy to be sure. It is the hold over color from the 31A casting that was featured on this model for just a short time before it transitioned to the more common two-tone paint scheme. These are hard to find in any condition, let alone the lovely example you've shared here.

Here are the three different window variations, Green windows - Clear windows - and No windows.

But I think that this one the 2 tone model with BPW is just as scarce, in the last Vectis auction it went for 400 .00 Pounds plus %20 that is some money.
