Correct Johnboy, 'Internet Explorer 27', (I think that's what version we are on now...!!!) is very reliant on user settings and other programmes used with it, like your own Virus software etc.johnboy wrote:Thanks for all the info Ghosty. I imagine if you could use a PC without any 'net' browsing and security software installed, it would run at quite a pace, but we simply don,t do it that way, even if you never actually use the Internet, (My Father) it is handy to have Virus software installed so you can scan for it on any removable media like memory cards and discs, borrowed from someone who has been on the 'net', there may be a Virus just waiting to leap from their memory card, into your 'supposedly safe' computer and run amock, it does happen.
