I am assuming it just rolls around inside the bottle, no sign of it being secured and what looks like the remains of a 'Loop' on the roof suggests it was at one time a lucky charm bracelet model.
There was another company had a lot of their models put into bottles, can't think of their name now...

I knew I remembered something about this, and thanks to the wonders of the Net found this.....
I'm sure I saw these over here in the 70's? Or maybe it was an ad in one of my US comics? Can't remember.

That is Bonza mate, got a micro machines version of the titanic in a bottle somewhere I've had for years!
