Dinky German 88mm Gun

Post by Krieglok »

I just picked up this Dinky German 88 AA gun. It is from the time period when I was a kid, but it was never available in the shops I frequented. I have other Dinky and Britains guns made at the time (late 70's, early 80's) but never had this one. No box or any peripherals, but in really nice condition. I am normally not big on WW2 German stuff, but this one called out to me...

As a Child I never really liked Military models myself and only had the odd few models, but Today I think we just appreciate the amount of detail the toolmakers managed to achieve back then on these toys (or are they models!), but I can see the enjoyment collectors get when they can obtain such models from their Childhood Days.

Having said all that, show me a collection of Rolls-Royce Armoured cars and I'll go weak at the Knees.

I was(am) a military, Fire and heavy equipment fan. Never really in to cars, except for rally race types, but pretty much mostly military.
