Starting to get caught up on collection stuff (winter time activity) and have Photobucket account worked out (pay the extra $1+ /month to get rid of Ads! --- thanks Tinman!), so hope to post a few more pics.
Here are a couple recent acquisitions:
This 1d Road Roller with hard to find "E" box was found at a vintage (has many toys) store in Salt Lake City (SLC), Utah for $25. My daughter went to Univ. of Utah a decade ago so I would always check the store everytime we visited. Seldom found anything of strong interest AND a fair price, but bought a handful over the years. When we went thru SLC last year, I had to stop at my "old Haunt". Low and behold sitting in the far back of the case was this model and box! Box ins really good shape.............. Model is pretty much mint.
Second one (62b TV Van) I found on Ebay a month or so ago as "Buy it Now" for under a $100. The Seller had listed about 25 fairly common MB models with boxes for very similar prices so they must not have picked up on the rarity of the GPW on this version. After inspecting the well presented pictures to assure it was hopefully genuine, then I couldn't hit the "Buy" button quick enough! I have the grey knobby wheel (Rentaset) version from when I was a kid (lower picture), but never able to get the fine tread GPW for a decent price and yes, it is the real deal. Decal a little yellowed (as many are), but otherwise model is choice. Still looking for a GPW version with the "Radio Rentals" decal -- that model is close to holy grail for me.............. I also posted a picture of this rare model (compliments of Collecting friend from Calif.) as last picture.

Beautiful models, Bill. Lots of 62's but no gray wheel versions for me as yet. The hunt goes on. Thanks for the pics!
