Another waste of time
Hi all, another bad seller, managed to pick up a Zodiac tan interior it had been on Ebay twice the listing stated mint i asked the seller if there were any chips, scratches, marks he came back & said it was mint. Any how managed to get it for £150 plus p&p. To my horror two chips on wind screen, driver side, two chips on side screen, two chips on the hood. Paint very thin on bottom half. So many micro chips on the model two many too list. No response from the seller put it in paypal hands, email from the seller & still lost to loads of postage. Pete.

Bad luck Pete, hopefully Paypal will resolve issue for you. Unfortunately there are too many like the seller you had on ebay nowadays and that is reason I restrict my buying to sellers I either know or have proven reputation, just not worth the hassle.
Re: Another waste of time
As Rob says bad luck Pete, how infuriating. I must admit whenever I sell on EBay I never state the condition and post enough images for buyers to clearly see any defects and therefore they should be able to make up their own minds regards the condition. It's always the same problem, one persons perception of mint will not necessarily be to my standard so when I buy from a seller I never take their description as gospel and if I am not sure about condition I ask for more images to be sent until I am absolutely satisfied that the description is consistant with the condition presented in the images.
PayPal will resolve your complaint eventually, but would you not have been quicker raising the issue with eBay? In my experience they are usually a quicker option.

I would do both if I were in that situation and let them both tackle the seller.motorman wrote:
