Re: Modern Army
The 'Modern Army' series of models was originally issued to suppliment a range of hollow cast soldiers purchased by Lone-Star in the mid-50's. 18 models have been recorded as being marketed in the range. Some of these doubled up into other ranges such as the Jeep being found in the 'Roadmasters' series. Most of the models were catalogued under a Four digit catalogue number such as #A888, the Search light truck with the 'A' denoting 'Army', but the Armoured Car (#1269), only has Four digits without the suffix letter.

New additions to the Modern Army line up
Any information on the RAF livery would be welcome as I have not seen any others

Re: Modern Army
I had an RAF one the same as yours but without the tilt (yours is the first RAF tilt I've seen), you do see the trucks every now and again but I haven't seen any of the other vehicles in RAF colours.
Re: Modern Army
These wagons are all on the wants list. It's not easy to find them complete though, that's a really nice set. I've never seen any RAF liveries, a right result that one!
