Very little evidence exists of a Blue #24 within a Lesney environment, but look on page 19 of the pocket catalogue and you will see this...
I have highlighted the model with a Red Oval.

Spot the reverse colour wrecker in this 1960's dealer catalog.

I wonder if #35b Snow Trac has rear windows?

Looking at the zoomed picture there is every possibility there are rear windows because look how the near-side window corner can be seen through the front screen (highlighted in Yellow). Now look at the off-side windows at the back and you can see what may well be light coming through in the same way you can see in mt first highlight.

Note the two 19c with '52' decals, lending credence to the idea that this was the first issue (but no bonnet decal though). Also, is that a two-tone 42b Studebaker?

I think it is floodlight reflection as this bright area can be seen on other models.Idris wrote:Also, is that a two-tone 42b Studebaker?

Could well be. (The 34c Camper next to it looks a bit odd too.)GHOSTHUNTER wrote:I think it is floodlight reflection as this bright area can be seen on other models.Idris wrote:Also, is that a two-tone 42b Studebaker?

Odd that the 73b Ferrari is driverless! I see there's also what appears to be a 23d Caravan with white interior.

I'm trying to post more but my iphone and computer won't talk to each other.kwakers wrote:Two Very Nice models Nigel, Thanks for posting them. I really like that dark blue on the Pontiac, but I think Lesney did well with their choice on the orange-red released colour for this casting. Mick from Denmark used to make the point that models' colours in the Lesney store displays had been planned to be colorful and not clash with each other. It seems strange that Lesney would have considered both the #23 Caravan released in Feb. 1965 and also this #22 Pontiac GP released in June of 1965 to be painted in the same dark blue livery. Someone must have wanted this colour used on one of that year's releases, but never was able to convince management even after printing the Caravan's first boxes in that same blue. Kwakers

I have resized your picture for easier of viewing, but it is out of focus and I am not sure you posted the correct picture. Is this the result of your technology not talking to eachother...

You can quickly get around that by emailing the pic to yourself and then saving the pic from the email into your photo files.matchboxuk wrote:I'm trying to post more but my iphone and computer won't talk to each other.
