Fortunately we have the Distance Selling Regulations (but now called something different) in the UK, which give a statutory right of return within 14 days for any distance (i.e. online or over-the-'phone) purchases. Since this is the law, it does not matter one jot if the seller has listed the item with 'No returns' since you cannot sign away your statutory rights.
What is unclear to me is whether these rights extend to items purchased from outside the UK.
