Hi all,
Sellers photo,
If it's real it's the 40 Series Vanguard in Maroon that I have waited nearly 30 years to get, the only one I ever saw that wasn't £1500.00 - £1800.00 was sold from a Toyfair table in 1991 just before I could get my hands on it!
Bonhams are auctioning one, albeit in better condition, next month with a guide of £500 - £800, so if this one is for real I am well happy at £62.00.
I'll post some pictures in the Dinky area when it arrives.
Chris Warr.

WOW! if that is the genuine article, £62, is pretty good.
It looks OK in the supplied picture, but we cannot of course see the baseplate, it should have what is classed as 'Large' script, as opposed to smaller script within a border and NO rear axle clip. Of the two known wheel colours, Red or Beige, that has Red ones, another point in it's favour, so fingers crossed and enjoy when it arrives and is finally your property.
Regards,
GHOSTHUNTER.

Very nice deal you got there, Chris.. looks like the genuine article!
The model has a great casting, and even the flaky paint gives it character
Cheers,
Ken
