That's very kind of Jason, it's nice to fill some gaps. I like the Cresta too, it looks quite Lesney like.

Some new finds from yesterday modelrailroad fair.
The model in the middle is a BMW 2000 CS made by Siku from 1967 on.
The Mercedes and the Lincoln will be restored or customized.

Hi,

Todays finds from a modellrailway fair.
The Dodge and Case are in quite good condition, the Gorgi Juniurs Volvo tractor is a bit played with.
I like the Volvo very much, it goes good together with the Matchbox Ford and John Deere and of course with the Fordson if I will ever find one.

Hi,

Some new models in the collection.
The blue one is a Audi 100 Coupe made in 1970 by Schuco.

Love the Schuco Modell Audi - such beautifully made models and funny how they all have the real car's top speed cast on the base!

Cheers,
Gavin

Yes the schuco models are real nice.
Here is a picture of the baseplate showing the topspeed, the horsepower and the scale of the model plus some more important Information to the owner.
Sadly the production was stopped in the seventies and some of the toolings where taken over by Norev.

Hi Stephan,

Thanks for the extra shot - the detailing of the running gear on the base is another sign of quality. Thanks also for confirming my hunch that the "PS" figure denotes Horsepower! Yes, it is a shame this range was not continued, but I am also a fan of the Piccolo range which is still in production. I have some very nice examples purchased new when I was in Germany a few years ago.

I'm sure you're aware that there are Brazilian versions of some of the Modell castings as well.

Cheers,
Gavin
