Just wanted to share a few cool finds I recently picked up during the holidays – a 73A Pressure Refueller with b4 Box, an M1A Earth Scraper with b2 Box, an 18C Bulldozer with B5 box, and the first roadway set with the "Lesney Moko" banner on the envelope. Any clue what that last one is worth? I have not been able to find much about the roadway sets on Nick's site or elsewhere.
Hope everyone is having a great end of 2016, and best wishes for the New Year!

Re: Moko Lesney Christmas Aquisitions (!!!)
That 73A is one of the hardest castings to find in the whole Lesney regular wheel line. I don't think they were all that popular with kids, but the war veterans in England knew them very well if they ever flew in or out of airports over there. That box has to be fairly rare in any condition today because of how few of these trucks are found. I like the model's design, it reminds me of our U.S. produced Autocar cabovers that were also used as fuel tankers, mixers, dump trucks, and in tight "city" uses from the 1930s through the early 1950s here in the colonies.....
The Earth Scraper and Bulldozer are also very nice models, what a Great Holiday you have had with these and that very early Minty Roadway.
In checking Nick's site tonight, I am very surprised that no Roadways are listed and shown there. I do have a notation at the bottom of this page that something has "not been able to be loaded", so maybe that is where the roadway sets are 'Hidden' (?). Thanks for making us drool over your Christmas, but it has been a spectacular year for the kwakers family in our hobby Thanks to many Forum member friends here. kwakers
