Found these four last month. Unfortunately is the roof light of the Daf police not original.
Anyone knows who made the Pan Am heli?

Hi Alwin, nice little collection of tinplates.

The Tank is based on an M-40 and is from Japan by 'MODERN TOYS'. The Yellow Helicopter is by 'TOY NOMURA'. I think the 'Pan-Am' is by 'ICHIMURA', based on a more modern design of their 'POLICE' Helicopter. The DAF 44 'POLITIE' does have the original roof light but it normally sits on a white plastic loud speaker, then on the roof, making it a very high appendage! This model comes from 'ICHIKO'.

Basically yes. While I specialise in Rolls-Royce and Bentley, I do have other interests in toys and models including tinplate, plastic kits, Hong Kong friction, White metal models, Scalextric, the product lines from Merit (J.R. Randall), Tudor Rose (have collections of both) and many more!

I also have a collection of 'TARDIS' (Police Box), toys and models.

From last week, very diverse items this time lol.
Not all complete but to cheap to pass. The Ingap is plastic but with a tinplate base
Know all the makers except for the bulldozer, is this one made by Marx??

Hi Alwin.

The Bulldozer does share details with a Marx, such as the general design with the large narrow wheels (missing the tracks not tyres), the extended steel piece pretending to be a steering wheel, the lever on the floor, the clockwork key and the way the front blade is clipped to the bottom of the grille. There is likely to be another slot at the rear for towing trailers etc.

Brightly painted versions of this toy do have markings 'Litho' printed on the grille (MAR X TOYS and oddly enough they seem to have decided the model makes a good racing car, as a big number '1' or '2' are known and the Three raised rods on the sides of your example become the racer's exhaust pipes!

Dates are difficult but looking to be around late 1930's to 1940's and I am not sure which comes first, but think the Bulldozer versions predate the race car versions simply because of the lack of branding or logo on yours, once again suggesting the toy may have been made for a wholesale/distributor type of outlet.
