I have no idea what made this suddenly spring to mind. Some years ago (about 4?) on the old forum, there was a discussion started by Nick regarding the many different shades of the sliding roof panel.
I seem to remember that a lot of different combinations cropped up, as well as a lot of confusion of which shade was which.
What I don't recall is if there was ever any conclusion. The last I remember was Nick and a few others (Kev, perhaps) planning to meet up at Sandown to compare models in hand.
Can anyone shed any light on what happened next?

A group of us did meet up at the NEC. This resulted in a major rewrite of Nick's catalogue page, with five main body colours/shades, and two sliding roof colours/shades plus unpainted.
Since then, we have had confirmation of a very pale/powder blue variant being released in The Netherlands (three examples so far), and a version where the sliding roof is darker than the body. However, a proper study of the various glazing inserts (which would enable a proper timeline for the various colours/shades to be drawn up), has yet to be attempted.
