Can't say I have seen this before but clearly someone had a sense of humour with the sign above garage eMpTy Stores :)

The garage was originally made by 'IDEAL' in America in the early 1950's, as shown below. By the mid-50's it was being made by 'KLEEWARE' in the UK. There is also a Canadian version from 'RELIABLE' and a very hard to find French 'KLEEWARE' version.

I have some of the body shells somewhere deep in storage I think, but have never seen the garage... must keep my eyes open for it now.

I don't think I'd get my car washed there as what ever they use seems to take the paint off!!
Or are they accident repairs waiting to be painted?
