End of Year Poll 2016

I shall submit my 57b Chevrolet Impala with the crimson base, in the "Regular Wheels" category.
A a little known and exceedingly rare variation that features the same base plate color that is more commonly used, on the 27c, 31b and the 39b.

What is particularly interesting about this find is that it is playworn, proving that this variation wasn't just an unofficial 'factory special' produced by an enterprising employee solely for sale to collectors.

My entry into the pre-sf category: The 15a was normally painted orange, a short run however were painted yellow. It's a model I have looked for over many years ( at a price I could afford) and I was double-lucky this year when two came along. This is the better one.

My entries for this year
Firstly #33 R/W in gold
Secondly #8 with light smoke window usually shades of amber or htf clear
Third Lone Star corvette stingray, probably the hardest flyers casting to find
Last my favourite Lone Star Roadmaster Electric Camino, a hard one to find complete with rear door even more so in yellow

I would like to enter a Superfast VW1600TL please, I am awaiting it's arrival which is why I do not have a photo yet but it should arrive any day now. If it does not arrive by tomorrow I can enter an interesting Superfast 32a Leyland Petrol Tanker which I have had for quite a while and can take a photo of tomorrow if that is ok.

Here I will submit my entry for the End of Year Poll 2016. Although 2016 wasn't quite as good as some years I did pick up this beautiful #8 Ford Mustang in Orange/Red. This is one model I have been after for many years in high grade and was quite happy when this model fell into my lap. Wishing you all the best for this year and next.
