'YONE' (short for Yoneya) had a surprising number of Animal themed clockwork toys in their product line. They adopted the word 'YONE' for use on the toys but was not an official registered name or logo but with the YONE placed in a diamond does suggest a mid 1960's release.

which brings me to my next question!!! In some instances Detective Inspector GOOGLE says Yone is also known as Yonezawa while other times it says it's not. It's not Yonezawa is it?

Correct, 'YONE' is not connected to 'YONEZAWA', Two separate companies.
