Across various forums, my use of the term 'Rivet' (as in baseplates etc), has been questioned and it is difficult then explaining that the term rivet is the accepted term for use in model car manufacture despite the fact it is not a rivet of the type we all would have used in metalwork classes at School!

The drawing below is for the 'Yesteryear' Ford Model 'A' 'Woody Wagon' (Lesney's own description there). It can clearly be seen the term 'Rivet' has been used, so if Lesney can use it, so can I... :D
