TOP OF THE WANTED LIST

Post by petethesweet »

Hi All, just wondering what is the top on your most wanted list. The top on mine is the Tan Moggie, never seen a mint one yet. The two that Vectis had years ago were very chipped but still made big bucks Pete.

That's a deceptively simple question, Pete. I'm going to have to think long and hard about it.

Hi Hugh It is a hard question but we could put the number into hundreds & it just depends how deep our pockets are & whether prices hold up Pete.

I should have said that it's a deceptively simple-looking question.

For today I'd have to say a turquoise 68b Mercedes Coach. Never seen one in person yet; only on line.
Happy hunting!

For me, it would have to be the RW version of either of the two models which didn't quite make it into production before the advent of Superfast, i.e. the no. 35 Merryweather Fire Engine and the no. 57 Eccles Caravan.

Absolute top of a rather lengthy list for me would be the 57B Impala with the ultra elusive maroon-colored base.

Top of my wanted list would be an SF#41 Ford GT40 Italian multi pack issue with Yellow body. I tried to get David Detweilers one when it was auctioned at Vectis, but I was outbid :(

I have a long wanted list of regular wheels and superfast, but probably this one:

There's nothing regular about wheels
